- Custom Linens for the Kitchen, Living and Dining Rooms-Placemats, Napkins, Table Runners, Mantel Scarves, toss pillows, dish towels, hand towels, and wine bags with or without embroidery or monogram
- Custom Accessories, including lamp shades, nightlights, fabric covered trash bins, and tissue box covers
- Custom Pet Beds with or without Monogram or Embroidery
- Clothing Embroidery and Monogramming. Please note that baseball caps and ladies handbags cannot be accepted.
- Wedding Gifts such as an embroidered fine linen handkerchief or as a joke, a "crying towel" for the groom. Monogrammed linens also make a fantastic wedding gift, to include bedsheets, bath or kitchen towels, wine bags, monogrammed fine linen napkins, or monogrammed pillow cases, as shown

Pennie Carey Rhodes Owner and Primary DesignerCarey Custom Interiors Thank you for taking the time to visit my little corner of the internet, Carey Custom Interiors. My career and the inspiration for my business were born from my passion for creating beautiful surroundings that enhance our lives.
I've been sewing since the age of 5, when my grandmother introduced me to a needle and thread. Sewing soon became my passion because it bridged my life to hers with every stitch we took together.
I won my first sewing contest at the age of 9 and my first design competition at the age of 13. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design from Virginia Commonwealth University (BFA) and I obtained my masters degree from the University of Mary Washington back when it was still called Mary Washington College. I hold vocational certifications from the Custom Home Furnishings Academy and the National Upholstery Guild.
I also teach when time allows, at local and national sewing and design events.
On a personal note, my husband and I make our home in Central Virginia, where we can often be seen in the company of one very silly little bulldog.
We enjoy travelling, wine festivals, fine dining and spending quality time with family and friends.
I hope you enjoy viewing this small selection of my work from the past 19 years.
Consultations begin at $250 per 90 minute session. Payment in full is expected and appreciated at the conclusion of the consultation.
